The right fit

I have been job hunting since Jan 19th and man am I tired. When I first got laid off, I was hurt of course but then I viewed it as a kind of vacation. Fuck it I said at least now I will be able to really search for the right job for me. Not just the first thing that some temp agency throws at me. Job hunting sucks. I have been told all types of crap. They smile at you and say "We're looking for someone who is the right fit." What the hell is that supposed to mean. I know they don't mean physically because that just aint happening. Mentally ya think. I get bullshit ass questions like.... "I may need you to do xyz for me. You wouldn't have a problem with that would you??" Like no shit that is what I would be hired to do right????? Then I get the call, "You were right at the top of our list but we went with someone else?" I try sooooooo hard not to think of it as a race issue but I swear to God thats what it is sometimes. And then you see the commercial of the stereotypical black office worker with an condescending attitude rolling her eyes telling her boss what she isn't going to do. Awww Fuck! THAT ISN'T FUNNY!! Now you tell me that doesn't mess up a job opportunity for every sister lookin for a job right now. I bet you twenty dollars if there was a commercial about how small Caucasian penises were it would be just about as popular as those freaky ass Orville Reddenbacher popcorn commercials. Let's see how they love that!! Which is to say that unfortunately for me there are some sisters out there on the entry levels that don't have a clue on how to act but on mine... I don't think so. Whatever. I just had to get it off my chest. Off to the next interview. May the best person win.
